1. About FilingLens

FilingLens is an AI-assisted research tool that helps users turn public company materials (such as filings, earnings transcripts, and investor presentations) into structured analysis outputs.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FilingLens (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Provider

The Service is provided by Aamir Rizwan, Germany (“we”, “us”). For support, contact support@filinglens.io.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your account is being used in a way that violates these Terms, applicable law, or compromises the security of the Service.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of the documents and text you upload to the Service (“Customer Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Customer Content solely to operate the Service and provide analysis outputs to you.

You represent that you have the right to upload and process Customer Content and that doing so does not violate any law, confidentiality obligation, or third-party rights. Do not upload personal data unless you have a lawful basis to do so.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.
• Attempt to bypass security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service except to the extent permitted by law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by automated scraping or excessive requests.
• Upload malware or content intended to compromise the Service or other users.

6. AI outputs and disclaimers

The Service generates outputs using automated systems and may produce incorrect, incomplete, or misleading results. Outputs are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute investment advice, legal advice, accounting advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.

You are solely responsible for evaluating outputs and deciding how to use them. You should independently verify any factual claims, including by reviewing the underlying documents.

7. Plans, fees, and billing

The Service may offer free and paid plans. Paid plans, pricing, and billing terms are presented at checkout or in the pricing page within the Service. Taxes may apply depending on your location.

Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing or plan features from time to time; any changes will apply prospectively.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or part) at any time. We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access with reasonable notice where practicable, or immediately if needed to protect the Service, other users, or comply with law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or, if greater, EUR 50).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding conflict of law rules, and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence may also apply.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date above.
